Successful Delegation from Sweden to Wallonia’s Aerospace Sector

We’re proud to share insights from a successful delegation trip to Wallonia, Belgium, where Aero EDIH met with leading aerospace clusters, companies, and research institutions. This initiative, made possible through the support of the Belgian Embassy in Sweden and driven by the dynamic efforts of Wallonia, marks the beginning of promising cooperation.

Over the course of several days, we engagd with organisations like ID2Move, Cenaero, European Space Agency – ESA, Pole Mechatech, and Skywin , exploring opportunities in AI, autonomous systems, cybersecurity, and satellite technologies. The meetings highlighted the strength and innovation of the Wallonian aerospace ecosystem, from advanced testing facilities to groundbreaking R&D in optics, space instrumentation, and EO data processing.

The Nørdics: Defrøst it initiative shows strong potential to generate real impact across the aerospace industry by bridging Nordic and Wallonian capabilities.

This was an excellent step forward, and we look forward to continued collaboration!
