How Future Drone Transport Across the Baltic Sea Could Look

A few weeks ago, we wrote about the work being done to create an initial simulation of how drones could be used for vital transport between Visby and Norrköping. The film has now finally been released!

In the simulation, you can follow how medical samples, environmental monitoring and urgent deliveries could be flown quickly and efficiently across the Baltic Sea. The film presents a possible future where autonomous drones ease pressure on road networks, shorten response times and strengthen both preparedness and public benefit.

This is an early step in a much larger effort – and a concrete illustration of what tomorrow’s airborne transport could look like.
